Procurement Committee

The Procurement Committee provides a common direction for optimizing enterprise IT procurements; assist in refining IT procurement and ITP processes to ensure responsiveness of IT procurements; and identify and optimize technology investments that conform to the enterprise architectural principles.
The Committee has focused on creating aggregate buy opportunities for government, worked on the annual technology planning (ATP) process, and created project management peer review processes. The Committee also provides input on policies that relate to contracting and procurement.

Workforce Development Committee

The Workforce Development Committee is responsible for providing guidance and recommendations around workforce planning, recruitment, retention and career development. The Team has formed a partnership with the Department of Civil Service to examine:
1. New and more flexible methods to attract qualified IT professionals to State service;
2. The disparity of non-managerial IT titles and competitive compensation levels; and
3. Consistency in position titles, grades, and skills to ensure they reflect the current and future needs of NYS IT workforce.
